Roller material seletion

Stainless steel conveyor roller: Stainless steel welded steel pipe is also one of the commonly used raw materials for producing roller barrels. It is beautiful, corrosion-resistant and durable than ordinary steel pipes. We usually default to ss304 material for customers.

Aluminum alloy conveyor roller: Compared with steel pipes and stainless steel, the strength of aluminum alloy is only 1/3 of them, but it is light, only 36% of steel pipes, and is not afraid of water or rust. It is suitable for certain applications that require lightweight rollers or water spray, and is widely used in specific industries (such as the rubber industry).

Galvanized conveyor roller: Using the principle of electrolysis, a uniform, dense, and well-bonded galvanized layer is formed on the surface of the workpiece. Compared with other metals, zinc is a relatively economical and easy-to-plate metal. It is a low-value anti-corrosion electroplating layer and is widely used to protect steel parts, especially to prevent air oxidation corrosion.

PU conveyor roller : Traditional rubber lagging performs well in increasing friction, protecting the bottom of the cargo, reducing noise and shock, etc.

1. Motor power calculation

Motor power is an important parameter of the power roller conveyor line. Its calculation method is determined based on factors such as the length of the conveyor line, material weight, belt speed and transmission efficiency. The specific formula is as follows:

P = (L × m × g × v × η) / 367

Wherein, P is the motor power (unit: kilowatt), L is the length of the conveyor line (unit: meter), m is the material weight (unit: kilogram), g is the acceleration of gravity (unit: meter/second²), v is the belt speed (unit: meter/second), and η is the transmission efficiency.

2. Motor speed calculation

The motor speed also needs to be calculated based on the actual situation of the conveyor line. Generally speaking, the higher the belt speed of the conveyor line, the higher the required motor speed. The motor speed calculation formula is as follows……..


At present, the application range of roller conveyors is very wide. Because it has certain requirements for the conveyed products, it is most commonly used in warehousing logistics and port terminals. Flexible roller conveyors are available in two options: powered flexible conveyor and gravity flexible conveyor. They use telescopic components as the frame of the conveyor. The body can change direction freely and at any angle. The height of the legs can be adjusted. The lower part is equipped with casters that can be moved and can form straight sections and arc sections as needed. It is suitable for mobile conveyors that require flexible layout. The casters can be equipped with brakes and the extension length can be limited. The rotating parts include single-row rollers, double-row rollers and Furley wheels.
